Hot Water
8 Answers
Hello.I may not be in the right catergory for this problem but here goes. I live in a very old house with a fairly antiquated domestic hot water system ie header tank plus copper cylinder incorporating an electric 3kw immersion heater. Everything is working fine at present but it is very old and like me I don't think it will last much longer. I know I can get the same system replaced but after searching the internet I saw a company called Fischer future heat;I contacted them and asked for more info and more importantly prices.Sadly they could not comply and want to send an engineer to my house to see if they can help. I have not yet accepted their offer because I thought maybe some of you nice people have used this company and could give me some advice be it good or bad. thank you all. S.O.G.

They seem to sell expensive heaters, which are expensive to run.

When using review sites (such as TrustPilot and Feefo, both of which are well-respected) it's always best to be cautious, as some firms submit fake reviews for their businesses (all of which, of course, are always full of praise for those firms).
However what such dodgy traders can't do is to hide any negative reviews they might attract. Therefore, when using TrustPilot and Feefo, it's always best to see how many poor reviews there are. In the case of Fischer Future Heat that seems to be remarkably few (and, unless the company employs some very skilled writers, the large number of positive reviews seem to be genuine too).
So the signs appear to be very good:

If you qualify you can get a complete new system fitted free or for a minimal amount. We paid £800 for a new Combi boiler, and rads. So it's worth a look.
