Deleting App On Iphone 6S

I foolishly downloaded the MyDataUsage app to my iPhone 6s. Not wishing to use the app I find I cannot delete it. As you will know, to delete an app you just press down on it until the cross sign appears and then you can delete. Now when I press down I get My Data Usage opens and an option to Share Data Usage. The same happens with all my other apps. Anyone can help me please?

Do a factory reset then just load the apps you want?

On the 6S to bring up the delete it's more touch and hold rather than press as the press brings up the 3D options (I think that's what they're called)
