Yes, derek....I have a Which? subscription and would be unimpressed if non-subscribers had access to the same information that I have.
My point was simply that online "reviews" by customers are subjective and not nearly as useful as a Which? report that is the result of actual scientific testing and includes reliability data .

True but they won't have tested thousands; and many subjective opinions can give a good indication of your own likely opinion. Good to have access to both though.
(Although when I used to subscribe many decades ago I found Which'd review things that month I'd no intention of buying then, and something I wanted info on was reviewed years ago and might well be out of date.)

Your local library may have copies of Which? that you can read.
