Problems With Accessing Wikipedia Etc On My I-Pad

When trying to gain access to Wikipedia etc on my I-Pad I get the message ‘Safari cannot open the page because it could not establish a secure connection to the Server’.

Any suggestions as how I solve this problem.

I get this on my iPad when the broadband connection is slow. I get it on any site including AB. I have a BT hub and have to reset it.

As has been suggested, if the problem only (or mainly) occurs when you're using your home wifi, remove the power to your router, wait for a minute or two, reconnect the power and wait for all the lights to get back to normal.

Also check that the correct date and time is set on your iPad. (If it's not, Safari will see some websites' security certificates as invalid and deny you access to them).
