Google Drive

Driving me mad. Managed to sign up for it enough to get pics uploaded from Samsung to Google Drive, and access that on web, but then finding it difficult to open them in my chosen application (Photoshop). Google keeps trying to get me to open them in an 'app' on my phone, and gets uppitty when I turn it down!

Anyway know how to get round/dominate Google, or am I or a hiding to nothing¿

How are you trying to open the image files? You should be right-clicking on them selecting 'Open with' and then 'Photoshop'.

Right click? Sacrilege. I suppose I could try Option click, which might not get me thrown out of the Mac brotherhood.

Well, tried it, got tangled up in Google's endless probings - wanted me to download a program called Back-up & Sync, seemed innocuous, downloaded it, couldn't sign in (with my usual Google sign-in), wouldn't have it, gave up.

Android File Transfer was recommended on a parallel thread about connecting to phones, tried that, piece of p@ss, pulled my photos off the phone, opened in Photoshop, job done.

Never keen on Google's constant questioning, sign this, do that, promise we won't misuse your data, etc.

Android Transfer asked nothing!
