I have purchased a Doro 5030 mobile phone, advertised as being ideal for the older generation who only want a simple phone without camera etc. I find it very simple to use except no matter how hard I try I cannot transfer the phonebook onto my car system. ( a Nissan Qashqai 67 plate). The only response I get is "phonebook download failed".Any advice would be appreciated.

If you got the phone from a shop, try asking them to fix it. If online, try your garage.
