I have an old Canon 5D and it takes a 1GB CF size 42x36mm. When I bought the camera 1GB seemed enormous. It is not now. I want to buy an adapter to house one of the smaller cards with a much larger capacity, but I do not know what to ask for! Please help. I didn’t know where to post this question. Sorry. Many thanks a Bramley.

You need one of these : Amazon.co.uk User Recommendation And then buy SD cards of a decent make (Sandisk, Kingston) - you may need to check what is the maximum capacity your camera can deal with.

EDIT !!!

My reply should have said microSD cards
You can get SD's suggestion to convert either SDHC OR micro SDHC cards to CF.
AS SD points out, some older cameras will only support cards up tp 32GB (SDHC), newer cameras may support cards bigger than that (SDXC).
