Anyone know how to contact them.

I can't find a letter from Virgin so don't know our account number. I've tried every number for them and live chats....Nothing. It just has a message saying no-one is available and cuts the call.

if none of the others work you could try 0800 9528046 We used to have Virgin till they "upgraded" and wrecked the service. Our local computer man suggested Sky as he lives opposite and knows it works in our street. It won't necessarily be better in all areas, though - ask the neighbours.

0345 454 1111 or if you are a Virgin customer try 150
If you've really tried 'every' number for them (as well as the live chat service) it's hard to see how we can suggest anything further.

Have you tried 0345 454 1111 ?
It ain't easy, is it? You get the impression that VM don't think it's good to talk. However, I managed to get through to a real person using the number cited by Danny and Buenchico.
There might be different numbers for, say, reporting a mobile phone stolen, querying a charge on your broadband bill, reporting a fault on your landline phone service or when you're experiencing problems with your cable TV service.

So why do you want to contact them?

Yep..tried those numbers. I need the internet for work. How am I suppose to cancel it?

They ask for my phone number. We don't have a landline!

On live chat I said I couldn't find any letters from them so can't provide any details except Name/home address. They came back with "was this information any help"

If I can't get through to them how can I cancel? It's only internet I need.
Question Author
Chris...we need a new box. Our box is still NTL...
I'm lost!

You say that you need the internet but that you're trying to cancel it. That appears to be a non sequitur.
//They ask for my phone number. We don't have a landline! //
Can't you give them your mobile number?
Oops! Crossed posts!

What sort of 'box' though? It sounds like you mean a TV set-top box by your reference to the internet also suggests that you might mean a router.

They're asking for the registered number. That was 15 + ago.

Chris - I only want to cancel because if there's a problem I can't through to anyone.

I'll set up a new internet service before I cancel.
Question Author
It's connected. If I cancel Virgin I'm going to lose my internet? Will I?
In that case, just cancel your direct debit - they'll soon be in touch.
Once you served your cancellation notice period then you will not have any internet

"It's connected. If I cancel Virgin I'm going to lose my internet? Will I?"
Please clarify - do you want to cancel your internet or your tv service?

If it's your internet, who do you intend moving to? Have you got a BT landline to your house, because you will need it. Have you checked the speed other providers can offer you?
I've just rung VM earlier today for my mum and can confirm that I spoke to a real person, using the number 0800 052 1920 :)

I'm thinking of maybe changing to Sky.

Giz...I'll try that tomorrow.

Thank you allxx
