iPod Album Order

When i go to select an album to play via the Artist link and then the artist themselves, all their albums and listed in alphabetical order. So if I wish to select to play all, they will play in alphabetical order. Can I rearrange the order contained with the artist link so that all the albums are in release date order rather than alphabetical?

right-click the column title (album, name, etc.), and there should be a date option. click that. another column will appear, the date column. click the title of that column, and it'll order how you want.

You have to do the above in iTunes, not on the pod.. obviously.. :)

Does that actually work, btw, on the ipod? I'm not home at the mo' so can't test.

fo3nix, thanks for your answer, but when you do this it puts every album in date order, not just a specific artists albums in date order. Is there a way to leave the order of the artists as alphabetical but have their individual albums in date order?
