Sonumaxx 2.4 Pr Headset/neckloop System
2 Answers
Does anybody on AB have any knowledge or experience of a Sonumaxx 2.4 PR Headset/Neckloop System, I had one demonstrated today and I'm seriously thinking of forking out over £100 to buy one. I've tried without success to find customer reviews on the internet so thought I'd ask the question on here.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

You also need to watch out for a very slight audio delay, not an issue if you turn the sound off on the tv, but this is may not be possible if someone is watching tv with you. However, to get around this most modern TVs have a delay option. I have a samsung tv and go to TV, Sound, Additional Settings, SPDIF output (my Sonumaxx is plugged into the SPDIF output) and set the delay to 10 or 20 milliseconds as appropriate. This all sounds very technical but in practice it just takes 10 secs max. Hope this helps
Thanks roycymru, I decided to go ahead and buy one and I'm very pleased with it. As you rightly say, there is an issue if someone else is also listening and the TV speakers are on, I have managed to cope with this quite well by simply relying on the receiver microphone rather than connecting to the base unit.
Thank you for the TV sound setting tip, I also have a Samsung and easily found the delay option, that I would never have known about without your reply!!!
I'm coping very well with the loop but will also give the headphones a try.
