Unless things have changed, I'm fairly sure that business pages can't post on market place.
A few years ago I had a personal FB account, which I'd opened purely for selling my own personal stuff. Nothing fancy, just a few odds and ends here and there. However, I made the mistake of naming the account, "Joe Blogg's selling page" and after a while, FB converted the account to a business page and then informed me of the change after they'd done it.
I found that I couldn't post on buy and sell groups, as well as market place.
I contacted FB and "thanked" them for what they'd done and informed them that this wasn't a business and shouldn't have been changed and that maybe they should contact the account holders before any action is taken. I never received a reply and I just deleted the account and opened up another one in the name of "Joe Bloggs", so as not to attract the attention of FB again.
Things may have changed ..... but it doesn't seem like it, going off the problems that you're having :(

Hi eve, if you look in again,I was thinking like gizmonster and yourself there, that maybe it is because of it being the selling page, I was wondering, what if you screenshot the new a/c page for the Ironing Service with all the details, crop out what you don't want the public seeing (like your other search engines on top of the monitor) save that picture, upload it onto your normal local selling page, I think marketplace is ok if you are planning on driving around the country to offer the service but if it is just local, just keep it on your usual buy/sell fb page, you could add a link of your Ironing FB page to your advert and people potential clients could contact you that way. I know here MarketPlace covers other counties nowhere near me, so maybe it's best stick local and know who you are in touch with(calling to your home or you going to theirs) keep safe as you don't know, when offering a service just who you are dealing with. best of luck with your enterprise :)
