Most peple hu wont 2 chek there speling probly tipe in Word (witch has got a spelcheker) & then payst into AB but i dont nede 2!

If you use Firefox (and if not, why not????) you can grab the Google toolbar, which features a built in spellchecker

I don't use firefox (what is it?) and I have the Google toolbar with spellchecker.

The best little free download ever: http://wordweb.info/ (you can buy pro editions and other tools if you wish)

It puts an icon in your taskbar. If you double click to highlight the word you wish to check then single click the taskbar icon, it enters the word gives the correct spelling if you have misspelled it, and if you click replace it corrects it for you. I don't know how I ever managed without it.

Thanks cherrybomb, I've just down-loaded the site you recommended ,wordweb .info .I 've had no formal lessons on computer use but I am hoping to use this site without too much hassle ( I,m getting on a bit you see ) .

Hi CheekyChops, Firefox is an alternative web browser to Internet Explorer, many people like it better than IE but try it out and see what you think, you can always to back to IE if you don't like it.
