I have an MP3 Audio Book on my PC which I wish to backup onto Disk - can I use a DVD disk - if so what sort? any help much appreciated

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Indeed you can, although if you save it as computer data, it won't play back in a DVD player unless the DVD player supports MP3 playback. If it's purely for backing-up the file, then that isn't even a consideration.
However, it might be worth using a CD-R or CD-RW if it's just the one Audio Book that you're backing-up, if only because there'd be an awful awful lot of wasted space on a DVD if you're just putting a single audio book onto it. Remember that a single layer DVD can hold around 4.7GB (Gigabytes) of data, and I very much doubt that your Audio Book is anywhere near that size. I could be wrong, but I feel it's unlikely to be that big.
Still, it will work in any case.
