I have to input my WiFi password every time after shutting down. Is this a feature of this printer. Can’t it automatically remember the password as happens with other devices like smartphones and tablets. Thanks.

I had the same problem with my Canon printer. Somewhat surprisingly (given that other devices in my house could automatically connect over wifi) it turned out to be a router problem, rather than a printer one. Replacing my router provided the solution.

So, while I'm definitely not suggesting that you should rush out to buy a new router, it might be worth power cycling your router to see if it will make a difference. (Turn your router off, leave it for a minute or two and then power it up again).
