I’ve some photos that are in .doc form and I want to change to .jpg. There are instructions on the web that enable this to be done via Paint and it is installed in Windows 10 on my computer but I can only seem to access it by putting up a jpg. Is it possible to get the prog on the desktop?
Paint is listed under Windows Accessories, go to Windows logo and scroll down to the above, where you can either 'Pin to Start' or drag and drop to desktop and it will then create a shortcut. You can then access Paint from there.

Shows how much I know. Would've thought a .doc file would need to be opened in a word processor programme, such as MS Word, first, then copied and pasted into a graphics programme from there.
Thanks very much SlackAlice. Paintbox now on desktop but when I entered it / File / Open - then All files and chose my .doc it reported:-
"A sharing violation occurred... "
I suppose that Paint will not entertain docs so I have to resort to Screen print of the doc file etc, first
