My device is low on space, I can free up 2.66 GB of space by removing photos that have already been safely backed up.. Does this mean I will still have all my photos on my phone, and where would I be able to see them? I don't want to lose any of my photos. I am not technical, thanks all.

If you remove something from your phone, it will no longer be on your phone, obviously.

As to whether you can still view the content on your phone, that really depends where you have backed it up to.

Simply copy all of your photos to your desktop/laptop computer. (If that's short of space too, plug a memory stick into a USB port and save them to that instead of to your computer's main drive). Then, irrespective of any cloud back-up you might have, you'll know that your images are safe.

If you want to be able to view your images on your phone, you'll either need to keep them on your phone or to use some form of cloud storage which lets you access them. If you've used Google Photos to back up your images, you'll be able to access them (from the cloud, rather than from your phone's storage) simply by opening the Google Photos app. (If you need further help, google for 'google photos tutorial').

You might also find it useful to create web albums on a site such as Flickr, which you can then access via your web browser.

Thanks all. I realise that Jim but I don't know where they have been backed up!! I have synced all my photos and have them all on my phone under Google Photos. But when I go into google photos on my iPad, not all my photos are there. How can I get all of my photos from my phone to google photos on my iPad?? Thanks again everyone.
