Virgin Media email to a Nexus 7

sorry about the above, I am trying to connect my Virgin Media email to an old Nexus 7 tablet. Keeps asking for a password. Tried my email password and my Router password but neither works. Can anybody help. Sorry about the post being split.

I too had a Nexus 7 (now in the loft somewhere !)and I too tried to connect VM Mail - after joining a forum I was told that the Nexus wasn't capable of handling VM mail. That was a long time ago though. Good luck

If you can't get Virgin's email servers to talk to the default email client on your device, try installing a different client.

If that still doesn't work, consider opening a new email account with another provider and then using the 'mail collector' facility to get your Virgin emails forwarded to that account. (Then you'll only have to get your Nexus to communicate with the servers of your new email provider, and not directly with those of Virgin Media).
