Hi,

I need to print some texts from my Samsung so have downloaded a few apps that'll transfer the file[s] to my PC. None, however, allow me to access all the texts sent & received to one person, not unless I pay.

This is, hopefully, a one off so does anyone know of a trial version I can use just once but what will transfer all the messages ?

That does look interesting fender62, but it needs an IP address. My printer's connected by usb so doesn't have one.
printers are cheap, epson xp range they have wifi, + you can use third party ink, i bought a pack of 12 off ebay £5 odd.

Good to know fender62, but have a perfectly good printer cum scanner so not thinking about buying another just to print texts ;) Just need an app for now ...
I am not technically minded but could you email the texts to yourself?

At least you have a hard copy if you can find nothing else.

You would think that you could plug your phone into the computer and transfer them just with a USB connection. Or did I get that idea from Star Trek?

Can't see any way to e-mail the text, wolf63.

Have been "chatting" to Samsung this morning, I can take screenshots. Cumbersome, especially with so many long individual messages that have to be opened up ("View All"), but least it's *something* :)
CW1 I am not brilliant at tech but get by. Can you not turn internet access on on your phone and send files to your PC?
IF your PC is Windows 10 try installing MySims from the Windows Store.

TonyV, I've searched the phone for the surname of the guy who's texts I need but nothing's found. Even if I did find them, apparently they're SQL files & I wouldn't be able to read them.

Can't find MySims in the Windows store hc4361, only MySimpleWeather or MySimpleDiary. Google returns the game :/
No specific answer but some backups might be uncoded so worth checking that avenue. Otherwise look through phone files in date order. There may be a messages file you can just copy ? Worth a try.
It should be there - mysyms

I'd need to at least know what folder / subfolder[s] to search, Old_Geezer, I've LOADS ! Any idea ?

Still can't find that, hc4361. Can you see it, would you be able to post a link here ?
I downloaded it today from the Windows App store but have found this link
