What drink made you never want to drink again
Mine was Cherry B and Cider in the 60s, there I was a size 10 in a pale beige wool mini dress and white PVC boots looking very chic when I threw up all down the front of that dress that I loved and had to bin it, now I can’t look at red wine, port etc

Pernod, was expensive here but dirt cheap in Spain in my youth. Was much stronger than it tasted !. Dear O Lord sick for days with an headache to match.
Lol @ Chris.
This bloody awful stuff

I don't suppose it was the Barmaid's fault that I asked for Becks instead, but I've never been so sick afterwards. Blergh!

Rotfl @Chris
Bleughhh Pernod,a bag full of aniseed balls without the hangover Tony
Although I have a drink regularly I've never actually been drunk like most people so can't answer but can for the husband and it's Pernod. One night when he was about 18, sick for days apparently - he's never ever touched it (nor any other aniseed flavoured spirit) since.
I can't drink bacardi.
Used to love Pernod with some dry ginger beer.

Bacardi makes me barf at the smell, and I’ve never tasted it !
^^^ Just a sniff of Southern Comfort gives me hiccoughs (which then won't stop for ages), Bobbi - which is annoying because I love the taste of it!
Oh dear, this brings back memories of my leaving do before I got married. Tried to look very sophisticated with my Vodka and Lime.Knew they were all trying to see me get drunk but managed to hold it together, even walking as straight as possible to ladies. Till I got home!! Sick as a dog all night and next day having to traipse around an unfamiliar Dublin city looking for the dressmaker who had had her shop bombed a few weeks before. Stayed pretty sober since then.!

I thought I didn’t like anything whiskey based, is Baileys? I love that with heaps of ice?
Question Author
Mrs LB that was so a 60s tipple, am I right?
he's never ever touched it (nor any other aniseed flavoured spirit) since.

I know exactly where he's coming from, Prudie. Someone bought me a bottle of Ouzo back from Greece once, I took one swig and had to spit it out. I gave the rest of the bottle away ( put me off aniseed balls aswell ).
It was a progression on my part from Babycham!!
Yes, Baileys is.

I bought some Baileys profiteroles...so so disappointed, they were so sickly.
Quite a jump that, MrsLadyBug.
Cider...
MLB hope you had some brandy in with it?
