Take a look at this one http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=91978
I purchased one about 3 weeks ago, and have just purchased a second one for my wife because she was so impressed with it.This player has a 1GB capacity, but it plays video as well. Its only a small screen, but it does the job.All for less than 70.As the reviews said 'Ipod who'.
Look at This one.5GB and really smart looking for 85.
Just bought my wife one and she's very happy with it.
how old is your son? if he's 5 or 6 or something in that range, then only go for something cheap with limited capability.
if he's like 10 or above, and you have windowsXP or windows2000 installed on your computer, i'd go for an iPod mini (not the nano). the mini will withstand scratches far better than the nano, and because it has since been discontinued, you can pick it up pretty cheap at places. always good to look on www.ebay.co.uk (brand new still).
