Having a senior moment ....... How do I add an icon, e.g. Answerbank to my computer front page (not desktop page) - what I am meaning is the page once I have clicked on Google - I had a few of my favourites' icons showing there but somehow vanished)

Do you mean bookmarks?

On the page you want to sav. Go to menu - (3 dots top right) select 'bookmarks' then 'bookmark this tab'

Just worked out, you want to create shortcuts on the default initial home page.
Yeah, suspect it may be browser specific.
