Remote Working Slowly On Tv

When I press the remote, programmes are not changing for four or five seconds, neither is the volume. There is a time delay. Only had the TV a couple of weeks so no problem with batteries. I have two remotes for the same TV by the waY (good idea, saves arguments) and they are both the same so problem is with the TV...Thanks all.

Yes, with some sets it takes a second or two for the key presses to register, especially if you are looking for single digit channels. The workarounds are either to key in the channel number as, for example, 0004 instead of simply 4. The other way of course is to use the Up/Down arrow key to change channels.

Hi Michael up/down button was the same. But Found the answer... Switched off TV at plug. Pressed On button on remote for 30 secs while TV switched off at plug. Switched TV on. Apparently this resets the TV so fingers crossed. Very technical!!
