I have acccidently deleted my Outlook Office 365 email account on my laptop and cannot seem to restore this, meaning I have lost all my emails and contacts. I have restored the laptop to a previous point hoping this will bring back the email account, but it didn't work. Is there anyway I can restore this email account? Thank you and grateful for any help offered.

open up whatever program you use to get the emails and resut the account details in it.

If you saw what program you used you will get help from other ABers or google how to add an email account to it.

Thank you Tuvok. I have already tried your suggestions but my emails and contacts do not restore
Have a look at this walk through Cas42. Have you got a Microsoft "account" set up? I find that all the microsoft programmes and apps. are much more responsive when I am signed into my Microsoft Account. The part of the link that says "Outlook.com sign-in page " will take you to the sign in page if you click on it.(It should be blue)

Thank you for your help Togo. I now have a new version of Outlook but no emails or contacts - looks like they are lost forever!!
You should be able to recover your contacts unless you deleted the account more than 30 days ago.
Might be worth a read through. This is the manual way and is a bit long winded. You will also require a little tech ability.
