Why Are These Contacts Still Appearing In Yahoo Mail?

I have deleted these contacts from my contacts list. I have permanently deleted all emails to/from them. However, when I start to type the addresses into the search bar up these contacts pop, labelled as Top Contacts. They are pretty unique contacts - not ones that would be suggested as a matter of course. I understand that Yahoo Mail has a deleted contacts folder, but I'm blowed if I can find it in either the new or classic versions of Yahoo Mail.

I've given up trying to sort mine on the ipad.

It picks up email address of people I've never heard of. It won't let me delete or edit them!

I have 2 relatives who technically have the same name, but we refer to the elder as the short version of the name. However their email is the full version and the other releative is the short version. The ipad/yahoo will not acknowledge that these are 2 different people - even though they are with different email providers!
