02 Phone

My sister can't ring out from her mobile o2 phone. There is a little red telephone alert with I think a red exclamation mark.

She can't get through to 02 either as they are busy. Would anybody know what is wrong. Thanks

does she have a landline or can you call on her behalf you will need all of her account details though.

yes Tony - we are trying to ring 02 via my landline but they are very busy and also from what I "understand" - they will only deal with the number one is ringing from and she cannot do that. If all that makes sense.

jj apparently mobile providers have a deal where each other can use another ones mast if theirs goes down.

Not saying i'm correct. But I would say it's probably the cause.

Good point Tony. There is a way to alter your settings to use the strongest compatable signal. Alas I have forgotten where and how to do this. Mybe a Techie on here can advise.

I've done it with my partners mobile with BT. If I have any issues I ask to speak to English call centre and issue is always sorted, just say she is in critical care unit at local hospital that normally works.
