Whatsapp Group

If I am deleted from a WhatsApp group, will I still have messages on my phone from before I was deleted, and if I am still in a group will I see the group in my WhatsApp contact list? Thanks all

I believe the answer is yes. I seem to recall I deleted myself accidentally from a group once and still had what was already on the phone. I had to ask the new controller of the group to add me again. But try it with a group you don't worry about to see ?

Thanks ... if I am still in the group, as I didn’t accidentally delete myself, would the group name come up in my contacts list??
