Location (Ip Address) On Chromebook

Location changes from time to time, sometimes, Dunbar or Falkirk or Kelso. Notice comes up that there is no unusual activity. I have changed passwords several times. Do other users experience this?

It depends what "route" your ip address takes.

Mine can show Aberdeen which is about 2 hours away or it can show a village about 2 miles away or the nearest town.

At work I'm sometimes Perth or even as far away as Shetland!

Your ip address within your house may be static, but dynamic on the internet.

Thanks for info. Apparently I am in Bonnybridge! Have to admit I don't really understand all the facts!
