Why is double spacing the default, who ever wants that? how do I set the whole box to single spacing? Here's what I did: I cut a description from word where I had it laid out as I wanted it then pasted the whole thing into the ebay description box and it double spaced the whole thing, no it's not double spaced in word, it does the same regardless of where I cut it from. I searched the help and it says you can create a single space line by deleting the new line char and then doing shift+enter at the same spot. That works but one line at a time! How can I select the whole thing and convert to single line spacing? Or better still set a default to single line spacing from the start?? aaarrrgggghhhh! rant over!

Buenchico, that does work but you have to remember to always use shift+enter.
TCL yes that's the line by line solution I refer to above.
I just can't understand why the default is opposite of the most common and logical, it's like they're deliberately being a pain in the aris.
Don't you just select all the paragraphs and then format them from the menu to be the spacing you want ?
Do the same to the template (something.DOT) and all your new documents should use it.
