What I need is a programme to download so I can edit and then put my pictures/videos on DVD disc so friends can see it on their tv

You could have put this on your other thread. Creating an extra thread only makes things confusing for people who want to help.

The answer isn't is as simple as you might think. Some DVD players can display images and play videos in MP4 directly from a data disc. So then you only need to to burn such as disc using the software that's built into Windows.

However most DVD players can only recognise 'movies' from discs, so then you need to create a 'movie' which incorporates your videos and pictures. For that you need a video editor. One of the best is VideoPad:
