App For Documents On Ipad Mini

Further to my last question. I need a basic free app just for typing and printing documents from my iPad mini, I don’t need Power Point or anything else. Something like Open Office which I have been using on my laptop.
Also as Windows 7 is to become obsolete would I still see my photos on my Windows 7 laptop and would I still be able to use Open Office on my laptop?

Windows 7 will continue working, with full functionality (both of the operating system itself and of any programs that you use with it, such as OpenOffice) now that Microsoft's 'support' for it has ended.
