Apparently they aren't zealously enforcing the caps at the moment, but are likely to start to once the upgrade happens.
On the other hand, 1 Gig is lot to download: do you really have time to watch all those films? I mean, evaluate all those Linux distros? ;o)
Their terms & conditions stated that if you regularly exceeded it, they'd take action but if you went over it once in a blue moon they'd be more lenient.
How much do you currently download per day? How much are you currently paying so that people can give you a comparative offer elsewhere?
Thanks for all of your answers. When I first had NTL BB installed, I am sure they specified a monthly cap of 30GB and not a daily cap of 1GB.As I do most of my downloading at the weekend, I assumed that as long as I did not go over 30GB in any given month,I would be ok.If I do not download during the week, does my 1GB per day limit 'roll over' to the next day, meaning that I could download 7GB at the weekend? I am ashamed to admit that I download nearly 30GB per month of a variety of TV series that air in the US several months before they reach the UK.I know its illegal, but I am addicted to these programmes.
As long as you do not surpass the 30GB monthly limit by too much it wouldn't matter if you downloaded it all in one day.
