Facebook Tagging

My ability to tag names in comments boxes when replying to a post seems to have vamoosed ... any ideas ? I type name in and nothing pops up for me to select..

Somtimes you have to put @ before the name, have you tried that?

thanks Chelle it seems that is the only way now..and full names only used to be able to just type first name and they'd pop up..also was allowed to remove surname..all very formal Sunday best now... but it seems there are tagging issues all over..FB at its best ! thanks for responding xx

It may be that the person you are trying to tag has opted out of allowing this. At the end of the day, Facebook is free and given the current situation, they will be at full stretch.

Electrochem..it's thousands of names on a site I moderate..all was fine up till yesterday..but it seems a lot of groups have had this problem today...thanks for the input x
