what game console should i buy

I want to buy a games console for the whole family to enjoy. Which do you suggest, Im looking to spend around �150. Thanks

second hand Xbox �50-80 and then just add second hand games

If you're after a console for the whole family, you can't go wrong with a Gamecube.
They're dirt cheap now, and there are games aplenty that will satisfy every family member. There's Mario Party 4 -7, which everyone can get involved with, and many more child-orientated/family friendly games.
There's a also a large selection of more adult orientated games, such as Resident Evil 4 and Soul Calibur 2.

Playstation 2 are a good price at the moment.

The shop Game have loads of second hand playstation games, and even playstation 1 games will work on a PS2.

For the PS2 you can also buy a "dance mat " which is fun at Xmas, and also an Eye Toy where you can play with your image inside the game.
