I've tried several times to uninstall Real Media player by using the uninstall prompt and add/remove software in Windows. It says it has been successful removed, but when I reboot it's still there!

Common problem. Realplayer have produced a special utility program called .r1pclean.exe to completely remove RealOne Player and other RealNetworks software from your computer. The .r1pclean.exe program deletes nearly all RealNetworks programs, including RealDownload, RealArcade, RealGames, RealSlideshow, RealProducer, RealEncoder, previous versions of RealPlayer, and other RealNetworks programs. It will not remove or disable your My Music folder or RealServer. You can download it from the RealPlayer site.
