Is there an up to date app to tell me how many Covid deaths there have been, and how many new cases, in my area?

Figures by region (rather than in specific local areas) are available on a daily basis (with updated daily totals), in the form of spreadsheets, are available from the NHS website:
https://www.england.nhs.uk/statistics/statistical-work-areas/covid-19-daily-deaths/
Detailed figures for each local authority are collated by the Office for National Statistics but only periodically, with the latest information (released on 12 June) only covering the period up until the end of May:
