Why don't you just Google Ad Block Plus and download it again from there? You can disable it for specific sites such as AB.

I only paid about £300 for mine about a year ago. Check on Amazon.

for 348 at PC world. is that enough storage........
I just know it's a Dell Inspiron. I bought it from Amazon and it was definitely under £400.

i guess i need an upgrade really, but ram 8 sounds better but is obviously more expensive
I'm late to the party here but I'll just add the following anyway:

TotalAV is well-respected. Just like Avast and AVG, it comes as either a (free) anti-virus program or as a (paid-for) full security program. So the free version will block virus attacks but it won't do anything else.

Many browsers seem to block all/most ads by default anyway these days. I use Firefox, without any 'add-ons'. I never see ads on AB, nor on the website of my local newspaper (that's otherwise packed with them). i.e. I'm not actively seeking to block the ads; they just don't appear for me.

If you've been seeing an unusually high number of ads all over the place, I'd recommend running a malware scan. Download and run AdwCleaner. (There's no installation process; you simply run the downloaded file directly):
