Can't Use Answerbank In Safari

In Safari, once I've put in my question, as soon as I click in this box (i.e. where you type the body of your question), the box disappears.
Luckily, in Firefox (which I don't use much), it's okay, so I end up doing this, i.e. posting in Firefox, then going back to my preferred browser to receive answers and comment on them.

I've tried deleting my Answerbank bookmark from Safari and then Googling Answerbank and reinstating the bookmark, but doesn't help.

Any ideas?

Have you tried deleting your cookies?

Just tried that, rocky, and no, doesn't make a difference. Apart from clearing cookies, I'm not aware of any other cache on Safari that you CAN clear. I'll have a look, though, now you've pointed me in that direction.

I always use safari for AB. No problems.
Question Author
Tried cache clearing now, too, and again, no difference. (Glad you're alright, David).

If I want to crack it, I might have to disable extensions etc, one at a time, to see which one (if any) is clashing.

Are you logged in to AB on Safari?
Question Author
Yes, no problem for normal use - it's just typing the text of the original question that isn't possible.
well I am on safari and have just posted a test question with no problem....Safari does have its own pop up blocker though in safari preferences, so worth checking that
Question Author
Yes, but it works normally in all functions apart from typing in that initial box! If it didn't work at all, I'd suspect some sort of blocking, but just this one function, that's what's puzzling.
