Several times when I've been out recently I've been invited to leave my details for track and trace. It presents me with a qr code. Is it simply a case of hovering the phone camera over it or do you need some sort of qr reader app? Ps no moaning about invasion of privacy please!

Some phones come with a QR scanner pre- installed but others require you to download an app. There are loads of apps available but you need to take care, as some are supported by ads.
