Is There A Way To Pause Someone On Facebook?
17 Answers
I want to stop seeing a friends posts on my wall for a few days. I don't want to unfriendly or block them. Can you just pause them for a bit?

Click on the three dots to the right of their name on one of their posts and click ‘snooze ‘name’ for 30 days’ (don’t know if you can wake them back up sooner).

You'll have to help me out a bit here because I'm not a Facebook user and have no intention of becoming one anytime soon. So I don't know how it works, I've no idea what your "wall" is, and terms such as "snoozing" and "defriending" are a closed book to be.
However, as far as I know, in order to see something you have to look at it, so couldn't you just stop looking at it?

No I am unsure why you want to be helped if you don't and never will use facebook but I'll give it a go. I want to use facebook. However the person who is my friend keeps making posts I don't want to see. It will only be temporarily that I don't want to see them. However it's a bit like ab. If there was a response to this post I didnt want to read (because for example it would upset me) It would come up anyway and I wouldn't know I didnt want to read it unless I read it. Same with fb I want to read posts but I don't want to read this particular person's posts for a short time. They however appear amongst all the other things I do want to read. It's no different to posts on here really shouldn't be too difficult for even you to grasp
I am Not and do not wish to be a member of Facebook, but I shall pass comment on your posting.
You imply that you read all printed posts from a friend because, as you have said......." I wouldn't know I didn't want to read it unless I read it. "
My point now is........If you hide away the posts, you might end up wondering if you have missed something you should have read.
