Does anyone know how to disable the function that allows Alexa to announce to all and sundry what parcels you’ve got arriving from Amazon (my main source of Christmas presents)? Thank you

Thank you. I’ve only just found out about this and I don’t want to forget to sort out (but I’m just in from work so I’m knackered).
To brief you quickly, sherr... if you see a yellow ring, just say "Alexa, delete notifications". And it will check and then do that, without reading them out.
yes but that doesn't disable the function, just deletes the existing ones

My kids are really good but I don’t want to spoil anything for them. We’re going to try and go with the ‘your delivery is on its way’ but not actually saying what the thing is.
Yes, woof
In December (maybe before) Alexa stops announcing what's in the deliveries just says that a delivery is happening that day.

Sorted now, it just says I’ve got a delivery, not what the delivery actually contains.
How did you do that, sherr? I'm still just deleting messages before they are spoken, for birthdays etc...

Pixie, girl did it for - you need to go into the Amazon app, then press more, then settings and then choose what combination of notifications you want.
Ah... thank you xx
