Trolls

Last night a horrible troll who I have had problems with before, put 10 one star reviews on my little business. Google are so massive that it’s impossible to actually talk to a person to explain the situation. I have no idea who this man is, but he does this trolling in the early hours of the morning and is obviously sad and lonely. I found the Google Chat and left a message with them, but I’ve already had 10 emails rejecting my request to take these fake reviews down. Have you had any experience of this? I’m so close to taking my business off Google, but then he’s won hasn’t he?

Move yourb business to another site that has better troll control maybe feefo or similar.

AuntPolly- yes- 2. Multiple negative reviews from the same person.
It’s clearly a violation but Google’s bot just refuses you if you try and flag a 1-star review. It’s clearly not sophisticated enough to see what an actual person would see.

He may be being paid by a rival firm to post negative reviews. It happens quite a lot, I think.

Thanks bookbinder. It’s definitely fake! But worrying to think he might be being paid. If he is being paid, he’s doing a really dreadful job of it!
