Sorry if I'm repeating other suggestions - do you have eg Internet Explorer on your device?
I have Edge (which is useless)
Meant to suggest Edge, not IE. So can you get into AB from Edge?
Do you have a tablet or phone that you could try? Thay
t would then indicate it is a computer issue.

Also try logging out of AB and back in.
Tried Edge, same old.
Going to try my phone...

edge is as good as chrome now, if you have the latest version if you think it's useless it could be your comp that's useless
try using another browser, I often find on some sites that the browser effects the display/entry etc. I'm using firefox.

Nails, have you recently installed any new software or security add ons? Have you checked settings to see whether the parental lock is on or something similar. Mind you a parental lock should not prevent participation on here if some of the posts are anything to go by. (^_*)

Think its my lappy that useless. It IS getting on in years now.

None that i can see Togo, and havnt installed anything recently.

Driving me mad now Nails. Right. Before you do, can you remember your Answerbank log in details? That is your Password and email address that you use for the site and Gravatar/Wordpress. If you can ... log out of the bank using the "log out" option top right. Now close down the lappie and let it do the full shut down procedure. Then switch it back on and get back online. Do not try to get into the bank using a saved bookmark or favourite or an old thread that you may have lurking in there but do a search on Google or Bing for the Answerbank. Then choose the sign in option using the correct details. Failing that you could try the "in private window" feature by clicking on the three dots, top right, and trying the "New in private window" option that is there at the top of the menu that appears. Again you may need to log on using your password and email after typing Answerbank into the search box that appears. You may find that the in private tab that opens in tandem with your usual browser facility has a black background rather than the usual white.

However, the problem seems to have ironed itself out since then.
Very strange, dont know whether it was an AB hiccup, lappy problem, browser issue or something else.
