New Bt Email On Mobile

Hi . I am using the new BT app on my Samsung mobile after Yahoo stopped. No problems with the general working but I can't get back the notifications when an email arrives either an icon or a sound. The only way I can check my emails is to actually go into them and see what has newly arrived. I have unsuccessfully tried to sort this many times with various settings menus and everything seems to be set to a sound notification but nothing works. Has anyone out there got a solution to this please!! Thanks. I would be most grateful.

Have you gone into the app itself from the Apps list in the settings menu? If not check that notifications on the app has been set to allowed.
Other than that then sorry i don't know what to suggest.

Thanks for replying! I did what you suggested and notifications are set to be allowed and sound is on as well so I don't know why they don't work. I haven't tried to uninstall it and reinstall so could try that next. Otherwise I will have to try the impossible job of trying to get through to BT. I'll keep trying and thanks for your help,

I've just googled the problem and there are a LOT of complaints about this, which have not been resolved (the only one marked resolved was where the person changed email app!)
It wold appear it is not a good app and this is a common problem :(

Thanks for doing that. I hadn't realised it was a common problem although I had seen one or two more general complaints. Maybe BT will eventually sort it out! Will have to think about what to do next and thanks again for your help.
