Why Is Adwcleaner Not Removing Viruses Permantly?

I have used Adwcleaner to check for viruses on my pc. It has found the same virus 4 times. Why wont it be zapped permantly?

Some viruses are tricky. They will hide additional reload bits hidden elsewhere. Can not talk of Adwcleaner specifically but check you have the latest version, try other cleaners, google what to do if still not fixed.

Try the norton power eraser its free and should should shift anything.

Adware is purely what it says clearing ads without being intended to be a full house antivirus package.

Probably a pedantic point but AdwCleaner removes malware, not viruses.

It's sometimes necessary to run security software in Windows Safe Mode in order for it to be able to do its job effectively. So that's what I suggest trying.
