Help Please.

I was changing some of the settings on my computer today, and I don't know what I've done, but I can't move the icons on my desktop.When I move them and let go of the mouse, they go back to where they were before. Any ideas what I've done please?

Right click on the desktop screen, go to view dropdown, uncheck auto arrange or align to grid.

do any useful options come up when you right-click on an empty space?

Is it Windows? What version? Try right clicking in a blank bit of your desktop and see if it brings up 'unlock' or 'unfreeze' icons.
