Mobile Phone Barred

I am on Fresh network from the carphone warehouse. i knew i was running out of credit but forget to get some. this afternoon i still had about �1 but when i tried to call someone it said this number has been barred from your phone. it is the same with all numbers and i cannot send texts either. but i can still recieve calls and texts. is this because i did not have much credit? i am going to carphone warehouse tomorrow to get credit and will ask about it but can anyone help?
