Portable Four Port Usb 3.0 Hub/Splitter

Hello,

Can anyone recommend a small portable four port USB 3.0 hub/splitter for use with a laptop but one not made in China having had two break in the last few months made in the PRC.

Have a look here theres a few, sure youll find at least 1 not made in China.

That page doesn't say where it's made - could well be China - but it works well for me. Note it does say:

Please Note:
* 2.4Ghz wireless devices, such as wireless keyboard, may not work close proximity to USB 3.0 devices or hubs.
* Connecting to a USB 2.0 port is recommended when you use wireless devices.
* If you plug into 2 hard drives or more, please connect to its own power supply.

So one of those could be an issue for you.

If you buy a good brand you should have no problem even if it is made in China. I like Anker, Belkin and Kensington

Says hes had two break from there, looks like thats put him off!!

joe, if he bought cheap unbranded it shouldn't put him off buying good quality

Thats just it we dont know he didnt buy quality do we?? Perhaps he might tell us, ive bought quality before and its not lasted or done as much as it should have! Im only stating what he says.
