Hi - do some websites no longer work on windows 8 - I have been trying to access my bank account on line - and it tells me it can not locate the website - on google and MS browsers

Your operating system is pretty irrelevant when browsing the web. If you are using a shortcut to access the site, try typing in the address fully. I you posted which bank, we could check that it's not a problem with the site itself. Another possibility would be a DNS problem.

Nice one bookbinder - called the bank - and they walked me through it - it was a simple question of clearing browsing history!
