Powerpoint No Playing Correctly.

I have just reinstalled PowerPoint on my desk top.

I have attempted to run a presentation I recorded last year - it includes music and sound files that were embedded into the presentation.

For some reason, it will move between the still images, but it will not play the sound and film files - any ideas what I am doing wrong please?

I'm guessing that the media files weren't actually embedded but linked. If you delete one from the slideshow and add it again, does it play?

Did you have a problem with it before you reinstalled Andy? Was there a reason for reinstalling?

Sorry for more questions than answers, but was the presentation created on the same version of PP as you have reinstalled? Sound s like a compatability issue.

Thanks for your advice guys.

In view of potential compatibility issues, I think I will start again with Powerpoint on my laptop, and re-build the presentations.
