Power Bank

Does anybody use them and if so do you find that they take forever and a day to recharge?

I've got some and tried. They take forever to charge whatever you want charged and personally, I don't think they are worth it.

Love mine. I keep it fully charged and of course use it when the device I want to use has run out of power, wouldn't be without it.
Yes, it does take a long time to charge but I charge mine overnight, or top it up when it's not being used.
No idea why Pixie is waiting for it to charge her gadget before she uses it, the whole point is that you use the gadget whilst it is connected to the power bank.

I’ve had no time problems with them charging my iPhone or iPad but it recharging the Power Bank that takes for ever.

Barry, I found the charge was running down faster than it was charging. I wouldn't worry if just the power bank was taking a while.

Many laptop/PC USB outputs are limited to 0.5A, at this limit a fairly low capacity Powerbank rated at 3000mAh will take over 6 hours to fully charge.
To hasten the charging time the Powerbank should be plugged into a USB power source capable of supplying at least 2A, which would charge a 3000mAh unit in around 1.5 hours.

I have two a Griffin and a Princess Traveller and have to say they are both very reliable and quicker than I could hope for
